Sarajevo International Airport supported project „Second National Session - Sarajevo 2016“

    In parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on May 22, was held a general assembly of the project „Sarajevo 2016“, organized by the European parliament of the youth in BiH.
    The General assembly was organized within the project „Second National Session (Sarajevo 2016)“ by the European parliament of the youth in BiH, offering more than 1000 participant to present their own solutions for actual economic and social issues that they discussed during the session.
    Sarajevo 2016 is an integrative 4-day-long event, this year held in Sarajevo from May 19 – 22, that is based on simulation of work of the European parliament. Participants were given a chance to discuss and be informed about topics like digitalization of democratic process, problems resulting from regionalization of certain European countries, control of violence over women and Euro- Atlantic integration of BiH.
    The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is a non-party and independent organization that offers programs for education of young European citizens. Its mission is a support to development of social awareness and civil responsibility of young people through their involvement in EYP programs.
    The project “Second National Session (Sarajevo 2016)“ was sponsored by the Swiss Embassy but was also supported by Sarajevo International Airport as a partner in the project. The Airport, as a socially sensible company, has been supporting similar projects from the fields of sport, culture and education.
